Chesapeake Windsail Cruises currently offers daily sailing cruises out of the Rod 'n' Reel Resort located in Chesapeake Beach, Maryland. We offer 2 ½ hour cruises on the Chesapeake Bay aboard U. S. Coast Guard examined Eternal Hope, a 42’ sailing yacht. We also offer theme cruises which include special occasions such as:
as well as special cruises for the July 4th fireworks, sunset and moonlight. Each cruise is limited to 6 passengers, the captain and a crew member.
Food menus are available from the Rod ‘n’ Reel and can be served aboard the boat before departure or delivered to the boat to be served once your cruise is under sail.
Our cruises are scheduled* to set sail at 9 am, 12:00 pm, 3:00 pm, and 6:00 pm, Tuesday – Sunday starting in mid-May and ending in October.
We offer a better way to discover the beautiful scenic and historic Twin Beaches of Chesapeake Beach and North Beach from the western shores with our four different Guided Walking Tours. These historic adjacent towns offer lots of history, beautiful homes and breath taking views of the Chesapeake Bay, the Cliffs of Calvert and the wildlife, all during a 60-90- minute guided stroll. The guided tours** are Wednesday – Sunday at 9:15 am, 10:15 am, 11:15 am, 12:15 pm, and 1:15 pm starting mid April and ending the last week in October.
*Subject to change based on weather conditions, water levels, time of sunsets and a minimum of 4 passengers on regularly scheduled daily cruises. Must arrive 15 minutes before cruise time (cast off). Boarding is 10 minutes before cast off.
